If you folks remember the blog post about printing your own Post-it sticky notes from a while back, that I use when I give students their login passwords or any other important information I don’t want them to lose.

I’ve recently come across a massive improvement!

I’ve started putting clear tape on the part of the template where the sticky backside of the Post-it note goes, as shown below.

This helps it keep the note sticky and prevent the template paper from peeling off.

In my opinion, the classic yellow colored Post-it note is still the best because it contrasts well with black ink making it easier for students to read. Get Post-it Super Sticky notes in yellow here or neon colors here on Amazon!
Don’t forget to leave reviews on TPT products you buy because you get credits that count towards your next purchase while helping a fellow teacher out —it’s a WIN-WIN! 🙌

This fantastic video, often called “Gorillas in Our Mist”, helps show students that multitasking is pretty much a myth.

I can't count how many times students have said that they can listen to music and read Shakespeare at the same time or that they can watch their favorite show on Netflix on their phone while listening to an instructional video or reading.

I also explain to my little darlings that there's also something called attention residue and decision fatigue.

I'm sure the uphill battle will continue, lol, but at least this is another tool in your arsenal for enlightening young minds that attention and focus are the new currency!
